I've been wanting to do this shoot ever since the movie 21 Jumpstreet came out and here it is! I loved the movie so much that I even bought the complete box set of the original tv series. (Who doesn't love a young Johnny Depp?) I was so inspired by the fashion in the original series that I knew I had to do a photoshoot inspired by it all. (I'm a sucker for late 80s/90s fashion and pretty much everything in that era.) This photoshoot is primarily based upon the McQuaid Brothers (Johnny Depp, Peter DeLuise in the original & Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum in the movie), who are undercover cops, who go and bust a drug dealer at a high school.
It was fun to mix a bit of the old and new together in this 21 Jump Street concept shoot and was a great experience to everyone who participated. (A big shoutout to Kevin who pulled through being the only one who hadn't seen the movie yet... now you have to go watch it!) And if YOU haven't already seen the movie, GO SEE IT! It's probably the funniest movie I have seen in a LONG time.
